Krishna Sadhana with flute: Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia

Musician Hariprasad Chaurasia, now 86 years old, says that he has been celebrating Janmashtami with great pomp in his home and Gurukul for the last 48 years. On this day, in the Gurukuls of Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, his disciples play the flute continuously. Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia was born in Prayagraj and his guru Pandit Bholanath Prasanna was also a very famous flautist. Pandit Hariprasad ji has also been a successful film composer. His duo with santoor maestro Shiv Kumar Sharma is known as Shiv-Hari.
